HV - LV distribution
As well as overhead line electrification, we also provide specialist high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) installations and electrification work packages.
We cover distribution network operator terminals to track side switches, and have extensive knowledge of design through to installation, jointing, testing, and commissioning, for successful entry into service.
High voltage power distribution
Our HV teams can undertake cable installation, along with distribution cabling and jointing up to 33kV and 1500V DC, the replacement and refurbishment of vacuum circuit breakers, supervisory control, and protection systems, including SCADA.
We can complete HV/LV site surveys and associated reports, and design, supply and the installation of electrical trackside infrastructure equipment. We can also install AC/DC switchgears, transformers, rectifiers and combined transformer rectifier unit and Uninterruptible Power Supplies.
low voltage distribution
Our LV capabilities include design, build and modifications to 650V signalling power systems, including SSP’s, PSP’s, FSP’s and ASP’s, as well as 400/230 V AC power distribution systems and associated switchgear, cabling and containment installations.
We also provide LV depot systems including shore supplies, lighting, small power, and depot protection systems. We can design and install lighting systems, including junction lighting, platform lighting, depot apron lighting, driver walkway, high mast lighting and buffer stops. If needed, we also support our clients with remote condition monitoring of lighting systems, and other LV power installations.
All of our installation works are covered by our NICEIC Approved Contractor Accreditation, and we offer CRE and CEM duties as required.
Our scope of services include small projects to large multi-million pound turnkey work packages, from early project development through to final commissioning and hand back, as either principle contractor or Tier 2 and 3 suppliers.
