Road Rail Excavator cranes
We have a fleet of heavy lifter road rail vehicles (RRV) excavator cranes including Colmar T10000 FS and Komatsu PW – 160 – 8 which can work on both road and rail infrastructures with the ability to work next to rail lines open to traffic (ALO).
Our machines can be used for various activities including lifting and handling operations, level crossing renewals, plain line renewals, lifting panels solo or in tandem, and lifting support for S&C renewals and construction. We also have experience in delivering specialised works such as signalling, OLE, piling, and telecoms renewals and upgrades.
We manage all transport delivery and collection of our machines to suit the client’s needs and we can also provide support on lift planning and methodology.
RRV attachments
Along with our RRV hire we have a wide range of attachments including various hydraulic grabs for rail sleepers and signal posts, rail trailers, and ballast brushes, along with a wide range of specialist attachments for thimbling rail, ballast profiling, and more.
Our rhino horn attachments work with our Colmar T10000 FS machines and extend their reach up to 12 metres and can be converted on site adapting our machines from a standard to a long reach RRV without the need for hiring in an additional machine which gives you flexibility and is also cost effective.
Our Colmar RRV’s can also use BSP impact hammers and Movax vibratory hammers which are fitted with MCS Movax control systems to enable us to deliver multiple aspects of piling works.
